Well yes it has been a while, many apologies for those few that follow me, I promise you all I will try and keep these more frequent, but hey I'm not here to moan about my personal life and troll away at why I haven't been able to provide reading material for my avid followers.
OK so today I will talk about this picture, recently I rode in Richmond park , now it having been the first time I have ridden there I was UN-aware there was any speed limit in this park ( yes I somehow managed to miss the bright yellow road marking 20MPH and the sign post every 100 yards) but that's not the point. Now by law there is no speed limit on the road for a cyclist, "gasps" !!!!! yes we can speed , however we can be prosecuted for endangerment to others on the road as I found out. So back to the Richmond park bit. Along a flat I decided to tuck up on the drops of my bianchi and sprint away from my group, doing so meant I had to overtake 3 cars one of which was a police car. Sorry officer I was doing 40mph. Now don't get me wrong when the diesel zafira came roaring past with the blues and twos telling me to pull over I didn't argue whatever it was they were accusing me of ( yes for fear of prosecution) so I apologized and explained that it was my first time riding in the park, surprise surprise they didn't buy it, they very reluctantly sent me on my way
So for now I have managed to avoid prosecution for endangering others.....apparently I might hit a deer.....
